This Booking Policy outlines the terms and conditions for group bookings, private events, and venue hire at The Dell.

1. General Bookings

• We recommend ordering pizzas in advance via our online booking system to avoid disappointment. Pizzas may be ordered at The Dell by scanning the QR codes on the tables or posters, but we can’t guarantee availability.
• For groups, including children’s birthday parties, tables may be booked in advance for £25 per table by contacting us directly. Please note that for large groups of 15 or more, we require a pre-order of pizzas in advance.

2. Private Events & Venue Hire

• The Dell is available for private hire for events such as parties, weddings, and celebrations, accommodating up to 250 guests.
• Event bookings must be confirmed in writing and will require a deposit to secure the date.
• A full event proposal, including catering and bar options, will be provided upon enquiry.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the event date for a full refund of any deposit paid.
• Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non-refundable, as staffing, supplies, and preparations will already be underway.
• For standard café or restaurant table bookings, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation.

4. Adverse Weather Policy

• The Dell is an outdoor venue, and while we will always endeavour to provide shelter using our tipi structures and covered areas, we cannot guarantee favourable weather conditions.

• We do not cancel or refund bookings due to bad weather unless it presents a safety risk or makes the venue unusable (e.g. extreme storms).
• Customers are welcome to provide or hire their own marquee or cover for private events at their own cost. Please inform us in advance to discuss placement and logistics.

5. Children & Families

• The Dell is a family-friendly venue, with a sandpit, outdoor games, and space for children to run and play.
• Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
• We reserve the right to limit certain play areas during events for safety or logistical reasons.

6. Food & Drink

• All food and drink must be purchased from The Dell unless otherwise agreed in advance for private hire events.
• We offer bespoke packages for events, including dietary options—please let us know your requirements in advance.

7. Accessibility & Facilities

• The venue does not have accessible toilet facilities but strives to accommodate all guests. Please get in touch if you have any specific access needs.
