BOYCIE - Our Café

The much fabled and notorious Boycie the Bus is an attraction in itself. Peering through the beech trees and standing smartly at The Dell, Boycie has found a new lease of life. Once the playground of many a child staying at Cedar Valley, and with echoes of life in service dropping children at school in the Hampshire countryside, Boycie has had a refit. With a state-of-the-art coffee machine, display stand, new freezer and numerous display crates, he is now ready to greet all the morning fellows and still happy to accommodate all manner of budding young bus drivers in the top seat. With lovingly homemade lemon drizzles, orange polenta cakes, macadamia millionaire’s shortbread, croissants, pain au chocolats, strawberry and vanilla crowns, locally sourced Moon Roast coffee and all manner of delicious savoury treats like sausage rolls with meat from Buckingham’s butcher in West Meon and perfectly spiced samosas. There’s truly something for all. With a little shop taking shape too, there are sauces from the Isle of Wight’s Garlic Farm, local beverages, Jude’s ice cream and more Come get your morning coffee fix and enjoy in some of Hampshire’s most idyllic surroundings.

TIPI - Our Pizza Restaurant

Our Nordic Tipi, shaped like a pointed hat, and Artisan wood fired pizza oven are at the centre of our food offering.

We serve delicious Neapolitan style pizzas using as much local produce as we can and where possible to stay within a 25-mile radius in our efforts to source. Of course, certain elements require quality and provenance, so we maintain a degree of consciousness in what we buy. The result, we believe, is our flavourful and appetising, revolving menu of pizzas which are topped with seasonal vegetables and a thrilling range of local meats and independently supplied charcuterie from further afield.

While pizza is our starting point, our kitchen is evolving and specials will be added to our menu as the summer season progresses. With a keen chef on board, expect to find interesting flavours added to the menu using seasonal ingredients.

The Dell is the perfect spot for a dining experience like no other, get in contact if you are interested in a private hire or would like to discuss opportunities and look forward to a range of supper clubs and activities as the autumn sets in.

THE BEECH BAR – Our Bar

Crafted out of reclaimed pallets and scaffold boards, The Beech bar stands proudly in our Tipi ready to welcome our guests with a delicious tipple. Reuse is a theme at The Dell, with our values around sustainability and caring for our environment- all of our packaging and cups are compostable and we take exceptional care not to waste but to use across each of our offerings.

With tables and barrels, the shabby chic interior is buoyed by the addition of exceptional new drinks fridges and a newly fitted Peroni tap to serve perfectly chilled lager. At the back of the bar, expect a range of fine ales from our key local suppliers and friends at Bowman’s and The Flower Pots breweries, expect ales such as the ever popular Swift One and Pots Bitter in new barrels every week. With a fully stocked range of spirits and soft drinks and the addition of special cocktails, you needn’t be thirsty as you enjoy the summer sun in our atmospheric safari tent or in the great outdoors-  a beer garden that we would like to think is perhaps the biggest in Hampshire!
