Where can we park?

We have a large car park which can be found as you enter the main entrance to Cedar Valley on your right. The Dell is well signposted and is a 200m walk up the hill, along a mown path.

Is the Dell accessible to those with mobility issues?

For those with mobility issues, please email us to request a car parking space at the top of the hill, to the right of the Dell along the hedgerow. You will need to follow signs to ‘Parking for Deliveries and Staff’ only.

Please note that due to the nature of the location, the ground is not suitable for wheelchairs and we do not have disabled toilets. The toilets are only accessible by climbing several steps through the trees.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes but we ask that dogs remain on leads at all times (with the exception of our cocker spaniel ‘Albie’, who has special dispensation!).

Can I bring a picnic?

No sadly not – we are a restaurant, not a picnic site (but you’re very welcome to bring a picnic rug)!

Can I roam around the fields and woodland that surround The Dell?

The Dell is located on a working farm and we therefore ask that you stay within publicly accessible areas.

What is your menu?

Our menu is available here.

Do you cater for vegans?

Yes, we use sourdough bases which are vegan, and we have dairy-free cheese available for our pizzas.

Do you cater for gluten free diets?

Although gluten-free pizza pucks are available, we cook our pizzas using semolina in the wood-fired ovens and therefore sadly we can’t guarantee that there isn’t cross-contamination (so our pizzas aren’t suitable for celiacs).

Does your café also cater for vegan and gluten free diets?

We have a selection of goodies in the café that are suitable for vegans including our Oatopia flapjacks and chocolate cake. We also have a gluten free lemon drizzle cake. We offer Oat milk as a non-diary alternative.

Can I hire The Dell for a private event or wedding?

We do the occasional private hire, but not usually during our peak opening hours. Please email us on info@thedellhampshire.co.uk for more information.

What happens to lost property?

Please email us on info@thedellhampshire.co.uk and keep an eye on our social media for any lost property we have found.

Do you serve non-alcoholic drinks?

Yes, we have a good selection of non-alcoholic beers and other soft drinks.

Do you accept card payments?

Yes we do, but not amex.

What happens if i arrive late to collect my pizza(s)?

We will do our best to keep your pizza warm in the hot cupboard for up to 15 minutes after your collection time, but we will then need to remove it from the hot cupboard to make space for other pizzas!

What happens if I order my pizzas for the wrong date?

Please email info@thedellhampshire.co.uk to request a refund. You will then need to re-order your pizzas online for the correct date!

If you don’t realise your mistake, and we make the pizzas but they aren’t collected, sadly we aren’t able to issue a refund. Please note that we do not monitor our emails during service hours.

Do you have a play area?

Yes – we have a large sandpit with spades, buckets and diggers, as well as several Cornhole games where you throw sandbags into holes (great game for adults too!). We also have a football goal and an open field for children to run wild and free!

Do you have baby changing facilities and high chairs?

We do! Our baby changing facilities are tucked to the left of Boycie the bus under a wooden shelter, and our high chairs are kept in our tipi.

Do you hold events?

We do – please keep an eye on our events board on our website and on social media for more information.

Can I pre order food and drinks?

Yes – we highly recommend that you pre-order your pizzas on our website at least 1 week in advance of your visit. You are also able to order food when you arrive at The Dell by scanning a QR code on your table. The bar and cafe remain open for orders in person.

Can we reserve a table?

We are able to reserve tables for private gatherings under our stretch tent @£25 per table (to seat 6 on each table), and a pre-order of pizzas is required. Please email info@thedellhampshire.co.uk to book. Otherwise, our tables are first come first serve, and you’re welcome to bring a picnic blanket (but not a picnic!) as a backup.

*Please note that this fee is not applicable 1st October -21st December 2025

Can we hold a celebration at The Dell?

Yes absolutely. We charge a £25/table non-refundable fee to guarantee tables for larger groups (15-50 guests), come rain or shine! The Dell is a dreamy setting for birthdays, anniversaries, work doos (including Christmas parties!) or just getting your favourite people together. Please email info@thedellhampshire.co.uk to book.

*Please note that this fee is not applicable 1st October -21st December 2025

Can I stay at The Dell?

The Dell is located on the same farm as Cedar Valley Glamping and Camping. You can find out more about the Cedar Valley campsites here, and the glamping accommodation here

Are you open on Bank Holiday Mondays?

No, sadly not unless we state otherwise on our socials or website.

Are there circumstances when you will need to close The Dell and refund customer pre-orders or tickets for events?

In the event of severe weather (for instance wind speeds exceeding 50 mph or extreme storms) or unforeseen circumstances requiring cancellation, customers will be notified via email and offered either an alternative date or full refund.
