Bonfire Night at The Dell

Saturday 7th November 4-9pm

A Magical Evening of Bonfire & Firewords

Join us for one of our favourite nights of the year as Bonfire Night returns to The Dell.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of the South Downs, settle in around the bonfire before watching a spectacular fireworks display light up the valley. There’ll be warming food, mulled wine, hot chocolate and two fully stocked bars to keep you going throughout the evening.

Please note that we’re unable to accommodate dogs at this event (assistance dogs excepted).

Wrap up warm and come and spend a magical November evening with us.

 

Event Details

Located just outside East Meon, The Dell sits in one of Hampshire’s most beautiful valleys, tucked away within the South Downs National Park.

As dusk falls, we’ll light the bonfire before the fireworks illuminate the November sky with great food, warming drinks and plenty of space to enjoy the evening with family and friends.

Bonfire Night is always a special evening here, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to The Dell.

Timings:

  • Gates open: 4:00pm
  • Bonfire lighting: approx. 5:30pm
  • Fireworks display: approx. 6:15pm
  • Event closes: 9:00pm

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 18th September and are booked in advance online. We'd recommend booking early, as this event has sold out in previous years.

Food & Drink

Warm up with our hot dogs, served straight from the Tipi, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available, alongside James Kennedy’s smashed burgers.

Our two bars, one tucked inside the Tipi and the other beneath the sailcloth tent, will be pouring local Hampshire beers and ciders and a great selection of wines. For something warmer, there’ll be steaming mulled wine and hot chocolate and locally roasted coffee, with plenty of cakes and sweet treats to tempt you too.

 

Good to know

  • Dogs are not permitted at this event, with the exception of assistance dogs.
  • Children under 16 must remain with a responsible adult at all times.
  • Please don’t bring your own fireworks or sparklers – we’ll have sparklers available on-site for use in our supervised sparkler area.
  • Free parking is available on-site.
  • This is an outdoor event, so wrap up warm and dress for the weather.
  • Accessible parking and accessible toilets are available on-site.
